Introducing Memberships & Partnerships

Hi everyone, my name is Lux and I’m an eTailPet Customer support Agent. I just wanted to make this quick video to show off an incredible new add-on feature that we’re now offering for our eTailPet POS customers and that feature is our Memberships and Subscriptions module.

On the left side of my dashboard, I actually have a “Memberships” button right here underneath “Promos.” This won’t appear on your dashboard until you sign up for this feature, so if you’re looking for it and you can’t find it that is because it must be manually enabled by your Account Manager. Let me show you around a bit.

We’re going to start with the plan section and what this section does is actually compiles a list of all the subscription plans that you currently offer in your store, whether they’re active or inactive, how many people are subscribed to them, how much you are charging, and how frequently you’re charging.

If you want to get even more into this and see how much you can customize this, we’re going to click on the top one that I created called ‘Sandy Salon and Spa.’ Here you can name your plan, where it’s going to be used – like ‘in-store,’ ‘online,’ or both; how often it renews, monthly, weekly, yearly, and how many times it will renew.

I chose mine to be continuous per best practice so it will continue renewing for my customers until they choose to cancel it. They can just as easily choose to renew it. The subscription price is also modifiable. I chose $100 because let’s be honest, this is a fantastic deal that I’m offering, and then elect if it is taxable or not.

The next section is where we select what is included. You can do category discounts, so I chose ‘dog dental,’ ‘dog grooming,’ and ‘dog flee and tick.’ I then adjust how much we want each of those categories discounted. Below that you can choose specific items and services and how frequently you want to offer them.

So for example, in my service of wash and groom, I’m offering an unlimited amount. You could constantly get that whenever you want if you’re a member of this program, and then as far as the other items that I have offered, you could pick them up once per subscription period. Below is the online content section where you can customize what this is going to look like on your website. So when your customers go to your membership section, they’ll see the sweet picture you uploaded and then that great description you wrote about what is unique about that product you’re offering so they know exactly what they’re signing up for.

If you then go to the ‘Subscription’ section, you can actually see all the different customers that have subscribed to different plans that you’re offering. You can see when they subscribed, when their membership is renewing, how many times they’ve renewed, and how often they’re being charged. You can immediately see how many customers are making use of this fantastic service you created and how much revenue it is generating for your store(s). 

Now just to show you how quick this is, I’m going to go to the new sales screen and go and pull up my customer Hannah, and you’ll see right over here you can see “add subscription” so you can quickly just add a subscription on the spot at checkout. Then down here is a “subscription” button where you can choose those items that you just created. 

So I’m going to say Hannah’s in here today she’s going to get her dog groomed and she’s also going to pick up her free Cologne. That means I’m going to redeem both of these and immediately you see that they pop up right there. They’re already discounted because it knows that she’s a member. All I have to do is hit “payment” and that will collect that payment right there. Finally, hit “finish sale.”

It takes you directly to our receipt screen. Everything is done and it was so easy.
