We’ve always known that eTailPet founder and CEO Berenice Giannini was a woman of influence. Now it’s official! We’re proud to announce that Bere has been recognized by Pet Age as a 2021 Woman of Influence.
This prestigious honor celebrates those who have made a notable impact on the pet care community. This year’s list of award recipients recognizes 25 women who have demonstrated exceptional courage, strength, and leadership for the pets we love, care for, and serve. Bere has a long and storied history of effecting change. In addition to creating eTailPet, getting another pet industry startup off the ground, and owning and operating her own chain of pet food stores, Bere has shown a deep commitment to community and service.
She started her own non-profit at age 11 (not a typo!), worked to donate 1,000-plus pounds of Naked kibble to Westside German Shepherd Rescue, and helped support indie pet retailers impacted by COVID-19.
As a Mexican woman, Bere has worked toward equality and diversity, championing women and People of Color, and creating a culture of inclusivity. In fact, eTailPet is one of the most diverse companies in the pet industry and the only woman-owned pet software company created by a pet retailer.
Bere continues to work toward empowering women and Communities of Color, serve pet retailers, and care for pets and their parents. She exemplifies determination, inclusivity, positivity, and leadership through service. We’re not just proud of her recognition by Pet Age. We’re proud to know her!
Please check out her interview on page 62 in the March edition of Pet Age, and join us in congratulating her.
